Developing LD-3D Technologies

 Creative Rays is proud to announce new LifeDimensions-4D based technologies applicable in several very different fields:

MEDICINE

  1. An ultra sensitive X-Ray data acquisition (XRDA) system. Uses as little as 10,000 times lower irradiation as compared to conventional methods.
  2. An X-Ray method for automated instant substance recognition / detection (ISR). Allows detecting and precisely locating any predetermined substances in any environment without human intervention. For example, cancer cells can be detected and located in any tissue and any location in a human body at the cellular level.
  3. A 3-D X-Ray method for quick cancer cell destruction without harming surrounding cells based on XRDA and ISR.

SECURITY

X-Ray Data Acquisition and Instant Substance Recognition used for security purposes.  New method can instantly detect dangerous or prohibited substances and/or devices on persons, in luggage, automobiles and even inside 40 ft. shipping containers and railroad cars. Typically, detected substances can be drugs or explosives and devices include knives, firearms and ammunitions, bomb-making equipment, WMDs, plastique explosives, etc.

MATERIALS ENGINEERING

Detection and analysis of critical subsurface voids or inclusions.         Currently, X-Rays are used to find subsurface voids or inclusions in highly critical parts such as jet engine components, aircraft landing gear and weldments on oil and gas pipelines and pressurized containers. The current X-Ray processes are typically slow and although they may be able to detect a subsurface fault, determining the exact nature, size and shape and the precise location of the fault still leaves much to be desired.  Safety of the operators is still a concern. A combination of LD-4D, XRDA and ISR has the potential to solve these existing problems.  Yet another potential application is the identification of subsurface delamination over time of the composite materials now being used in both rotor and fixed wing aircraft as well as in space vehicles.
